Galbreath McMullen
Probably one of the oldest, if not the oldest man that ever lived in Mercer County was Galbreath McMullen, of Mill Creek Township, who died at the home of his son A.J. McMullen about midday between Sandy Lake and New Lebanon, on 24 Sep 1884, aged 104 years, 5 months and 16 days. He was born at Winchester, VA 8 Apr 1779, the son of Galbreath and Margaret (Luckens) McMullen.
